Teaching Methods
At CAPT. HARDEV SINGH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, we focus on developing strong teaching method skills among our B.Ed. students to prepare them for the evolving demands of modern classrooms. Our training includes a blend of traditional and innovative teaching techniques such as lecture methods, demonstration methods, project-based learning, activity-based teaching, and interactive discussions. Students are also introduced to micro-teaching practices, effective lesson planning, and classroom management strategies. Emphasis is laid on the use of modern teaching aids, including audio-visual tools and ICT (Information and Communication Technology), to enhance learning outcomes .
Educational Psychology
At CAPT. HARDEV SINGH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, Educational Psychology is a core and essential component of our B.Ed. curriculum. We believe that understanding how students learn, think, behave, and grow is crucial for every future educator. Our course in Educational Psychology equips students with a deep understanding of human development, learning processes, motivation, classroom behavior, and the mental and emotional needs of learners. It bridges the gap between psychological theory and teaching practice, enabling our B.Ed. trainees to create student-friendly, inclusive, and effective learning environments.
